BoKS advises positively regarding the changing allocation system for tenants who do not want or cannot form a living group. This concerns more than three quarters of the tenants and this also confirms the assessment of the SSH that these tenants are a good fit for the SSH.
BoKS advises negatively regarding the rejection of the houses that want to form a living group. It is a choice of the SSH to bring in these tenants. It is therefore up to the SSH to take care of these tenants by providing suitable solutions. This can be done by granting living group status, priority in case of moving, or youth contracts instead of campus contracts.
In the coming period, the SSH will check for each house what criteria the 13 houses set for the residents in their house. When it’s a suitable solution the SSH will use youth contracts instead of campus contracts. As a result, these become homes for restarters and the life phases of the new and current residents should be closer together.
