In the fall of 2020 the SSH made a request for official advice to BoKS, concerning an exchange of housing with housing association Bo-Ex. The exchange entailed the sale of 375 small homes by SSH and the acquisition of about 500 student rooms from Bo-Ex. The housing acquired by SSH will better fit the target demographic of SSH, namely students. The transaction happened before Januari, 1st, 2021. BoKS advised positively on the exchange in general, but provided SSH with some critical notes regarding the details of the exchange. The most important condition for BoKS, is that none of the renters living in the living spaces to be exchanged experience any disadvantage from the transaction. Besides this, BoKS fully supports the exchange, as we believe the housing acquired by SSH fits the strategy of the housing association, namely facilitating living spaces for students.
